Tuning into Internet radio stations

Use the radio tuner to listen to MP3 files that are streamed to your computer over the Internet.

To tune into an Internet radio stream:

Click Radio Tuner in the source list of the iTunes window. Then choose a type of music, such as Blues. Click the triangle next to a category to see the stations available, then double-click a station to tune in. If you use a modem to connect to the Internet, choose a station with a bit rate of less than 56 kbps for best results.

You can click the Refresh button in the top-right corner of the iTunes window to retrieve the latest list of music categories.

You can't record or save a song from a radio broadcast. You can add your favorite stations to your music library or to a playlist so you can tune in easily.
